David J. Whitt of Knoxville, Tennessee Wins
David A. Williams Award for Exemplary Service 2010;
$1,000 Contributed to Shriners Hospital for Children
Covington Power Services, headquartered in Greensboro, N.C .and with 229 employees at ten branch locations in North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia, annually honors the memory of an outstanding former employee, David A. Williams, by recognizing a Covington employee that provided exemplary customer service during the year.
David J. Whitt, technician at our Knoxville, Tennessee location received the award at Covington’s Knoxville location on December 14, 2010.
To honor the memory of David A. Williams as well as the annual recipient, a donation is made to the charity designated by the award winner. This year our award recipient David J. Whitt selected Shriners Hospitals for Children. A check in the amount of $1,000 was presented to Mel Hines, Imperial Donor Relations Director of East Tennessee.
